Frequently Asked Questions
What screenings do families go through?
We ask all our families to answer questions about their home life, knowledge of the breed, preparation for grooming and training needs, and long-term commitment to their puppy. We want to match our puppies with loving, prepared, long-term homes.
What’s a deposit and why do you require one?
A deposit secures your puppy. After a deposit is receive we no longer market that puppy; it’s reserved only for you. You are then committed to paying the final deposit at pickup. If you are unable to complete your final payment, the deposit is forfeit.
What’s your refund policy?
Deposits are non-refundable, except in very rare cases where the puppy becomes unsuitable for adoption (due to health or behaviour issues) or if we decide certain life circumstances warrant a refund. We seek to be fair and understanding while also holding to our policy.
How does pickup work?
We do not allow visitors to our home. All pickups will be performed in a public setting. At pickup, you will be able to see and touch your puppy before making your final payment. Once final payment is received, you can take your puppy and your puppy kit home!
Do you work with transporters?
We have worked with many transporters and have a couple favourites. We have worked with ground shippers, flight nannys, and have even met buyers at the airport. We’d be glad to suggest a couple options and even make the arrangements.
CitizenShipper is not our favourite transportation option. If using CitizenShipper, buyer’s should proceed with caution and have a backup plan. All CitizenShipper arrangements are left up to the buyer.
All the costs associated with transportation are at buyer’s expense.
